Who better to lead us into a deep dive exploration than the Honorable Pema Chödrön?  Based on her teachings we will explore what the Buddha meant by “there is no self.”  All of us go through life believing we exist and experience a self that is always with us, so how can it be true that the self does not actually exist?

We will spend 4 Wednesday evenings together uncovering the idea of self and how to start working with selflessness.  We will engage in dharma teachings, meditation and discussion reaching into our own wisdom and experience.

Between class 3 and 4 the gathering will be to meditate together for a half-day of meditation on Sunday, October 21 from 9:00 am - noon.

This course will be offered in person and online through the interactive zoom platform (  Zoom allows us to participate fully and together similar to a conference call or facetime.  You can join from any tablet, computer or telephone platform. It is free to download and use.  If you are not familiar with zoom please refer to their website for more information:  We will also record the classes and make them available to participants who have registered and paid for the course.

I look forward to seeing you!

Teri, Course Instructor
